Welcome to The Ponderosa Estate
We started The Ponderosa Estate because we believed there was a better way to care for people we love. Sixteen residents. A real home. A staff that knows your name — and your mom’s favorite song.
Our Mission
- People Who Actually Know Your Loved One - Our staff don't rotate through dozens of residents. They know who needs an extra blanket, who lights up talking about their grandkids, and who just needs someone to sit with them.
- A Home, Not a Facility - We have a living room, a kitchen, a garden, and a patio. Residents aren't in a wing or a unit — they're home.
- Your Own Space - Every resident has a private room that's truly theirs. Bring your furniture, your photos, your routines.
- Small on Purpose - With only 16 residents, nobody gets lost in the shuffle. Friendships form naturally, and staff have the time to give real attention.
- Family Is Always Welcome - Come for dinner. Bring the grandkids. Stay as long as you like. You're not visiting an institution — you're coming to see family.
- A Full Team Behind Every Resident - We coordinate with therapists, home health aides, and specialists so nothing falls through the cracks.
Our Core Values
- Compassion Over Procedure - We care about the person, not just the care plan. Every decision we make starts with asking what's actually best for the person in front of us.
- Doing Things Right - Good food, a clean home, attentive staff, and genuine warmth. We hold ourselves to a high standard because your family deserves nothing less.
- A Real Community - Residents, families, and staff look out for each other here. That's not a value we wrote on a wall — it's just how this place works.
