Daily Support
What daily support includes.
Every care plan here is written around one person. For most residents, that means gentle help with the personal parts of the day — bathing, dressing, and moving safely from place to place — along with medication management handled quietly by our team. A nurse and doctor are on call, so small concerns are answered before they become big ones.
Our full-time chef prepares three meals a day around each resident’s preferences, not a facility menu. Housekeeping and laundry are simply taken care of. Days find their shape through daily activities and wellness programs, and the estate’s resort-style amenities — the library, the salon, the gardens — are steps from every suite. No upsells, no surprise line items — the number we agree on is the number you pay. We are a private-pay community and we accept long-term care insurance; our team is glad to help you understand how your policy’s benefits apply. How is a 16-suite community different from a large assisted living facility?
Scale changes everything. With sixteen residents, the same caregivers are with your parent every day, so small changes get noticed early. Mealtimes are personal, routines stay consistent, and the home stays calm. Large communities can be lovely — but they cannot be this personal. Small by design is the whole idea.
Do you accept long-term care insurance?
Yes. The Ponderosa Estate is a private-pay community, and we accept long-term care insurance. Our team can sit down with you, review your policy, and help you understand exactly how its benefits apply. We are not able to accept Medicaid.
What is all-inclusive pricing?
It means one monthly rate, agreed on before move-in, that covers the suite, personal care, chef-prepared meals, housekeeping, laundry, and activities. There are no surprise fees and no upsells — if your parent needs a little more help this month than last, the rate doesn’t creep up with it.
